How do dragonfly decoys actually deter pests?

Many flying insects avoid areas where they perceive natural predators. Real dragonflies are fierce mosquito and fly hunters, so these realistic decoys signal danger to pest insects, encouraging them to stay away.

Are these waterproof and weather-resistant?

Yes, these plastic garden stakes are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. They can withstand various weather conditions, though storing them during extreme seasons can extend their lifespan.

Will these really work for horses and deer?

The dragonfly design primarily deters flying insects. For larger animals like horses and deer, the visual movement and presence may provide some deterrent effect, but they work best as a comprehensive pest control solution combined with other strategies.
