Will this work with my cordless drill?

Yes, this attachment fits standard 3/8-inch chuck drills and works great with cordless models. Just use a lower speed setting for better control and to avoid damaging the pumpkin walls.

How thick are the pumpkin walls after using this?

The thinning blade removes about 1/2 to 3/4 inches of pumpkin wall, leaving enough structural integrity for carving detailed designs and preventing cave-in.

It's definitely wetter than hand carving, so use it over a tub or outside. Many users find the time savings worth a quick hose-down afterward.
