Does this low lying fog machine need dry ice?

No. It is a dry ice style machine, which means it cools the fog so it stays low to the ground without you handling real dry ice. Check the product listing for exact cooling requirements and any ice use recommended by the maker.

Is a 3500W fog machine too powerful for a small room?

It can be. The high output is designed for large stages, clubs and big event spaces. In a small room the fog can quickly become very thick, so use short bursts or choose a lower wattage model.

What kind of fog fluid should I use?

Use the fog fluid the manufacturer recommends for this model. Water-based fluid is the usual choice for machines like this, and the wrong fluid can clog the heater or leave residue.

Who Should Buy This?

This machine is a good fit for DJs, event hosts, wedding planners, small venues and performers who need a dramatic, ground-hugging fog effect across a large space. It is more than most home users need, so it makes the most sense for stage shows, club nights, big parties and celebrations where a thin haze would get lost. Hobbyists planning a large haunted house or a themed party may also find the extra output worthwhile.

Buying Tip

Check that your venue allows fog effects and that smoke detectors will not be triggered before you buy. A 3500W unit draws a lot of power, so confirm your outlet and circuit can handle 10A without tripping. Use only fog fluid recommended by the manufacturer, and let the machine fully heat up before the first burst.
